The essence of Naren's music and Sangita Yoga work is being beautifully captured on his second album. Recording is already underway at Coupe Studios in Boulder, CO with producer/engineer John McVey. A variety of sacred songs and divine moods will be presented in this album, and, as always, featuring talented musicians of India's acoustic instruments—Saumya Jain (tabla), Pankaj Mishra (sarangi) and Kamaljeet Ahluwalia (santoor).
The album will include Naren's original compositions using traditional texts from India's scriptures and kirtan traditions, including Jaya Jaya He Bhagavati, a Sanskrit tribute to Goddess Saraswati; Nirvanashtakam, Adi Shankara's famous Sanskrit verses declaring the true nature of the Self; and Om Kali, a traditional Kali Kirtan in worship of the Divine Mother.
