Adya Series – Silver Kavach

198.00

Ethnic charm personifies this elegant piece. The focal point is an authentic, silver, hand made tribal Kavach from India. Kavach means 'armor' but can take the form of an amulet. This special amulet opens on one end into a hollow tube that can be filled with a hand-written mantra, dried flower petals from a ceremony, or sacred relics. Worn around the neck, this Kavach acts as a spiritual armor, protecting the heart and body with the sacred relics or mantra carried within it.

In addition to the Himalayan rudraksha (see below), this piece is accented with aventurine, amber and spiny lobster shell, along with sterling silver findings.

Length: 16 inches
Weight: 1.4 ounces

About The Adya Series

The Adya Series presents one of a kind, hand crafted, consciously sourced, and spiritually inspired necklaces. Designed by Lopamudra Bose, each piece features the sacred Himalayan rudraksha bead. Since ancient times, the beads have been worn by yogis and spiritual seekers in India for their beneficial influence on one's physical, mental and emotional being. The beads are so revered that they are used as a mala, or a rosary prayer necklace. The Adya Series offers this holy bead in a beautiful presentation of unparalleled quality, together with other natural gemstones, unique pendants, and 925 sterling silver findings. The wearer is graced both with an uplifted beauty as well as the benefits and blessings of the sacred.
