We bring you an exclusive collection of handwoven saris—textiles that tell the story of India's culture and its unbroken lineage of fine weaving. The saris we offer are all made out of 100% natural fibers such as silk, wool and cotton and therefore are ideally suited for use at any sacred ceremony or ritual, holiday celebration or pilgrimages. We feature styles from all regions of India, such as Varanasi, Kanchipuram, Kashmir, Bengal and more.
This festive 100% silk sari features a unique combination of emerald green and vibrant ocher. It comes from the Eastern part of India, in the city of Sambalpur, and therefore is called a “Sambalpuri Sari”. The weavers in this region dye the silk yarns first and then use traditional handloom methods to create intricate patterns on the fabric that depict local flora and traditional geometric patterns.
